The more extreme the weather becomes, the more people leave their homes.
I wanted to illustrate a story from The New York Times, and I really liked this article on environmental migration, so I created my own version.

This project visually explores migration caused by climate change. Drawing on the article, the artist created a symbolic scene in which two contrasting landscapes are depicted: one marked by drought, dead trees, and eroded soil; and another where life still persists.
The illustration seeks to visually convey the human and environmental dimensions of this issue, using landscape and visual storytelling as central elements.
